Merry Christmas!!!
Have you ever sung Jingle Bells Rock? Now it's your turn!!!
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air.
What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell rock
Jingle Bell Rock
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air.
What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell rock

The Weather
Teaching the weather is a great resource in our English class routines. We can start our English lesson asking to our pupils: What' the weather like today?. Probably they will look trough the windows and will try to guess about the weather. Nevertheless, we have previously introduced a simple vocabulary about the weather. Sunny, cloudy, snowy, foggy, windy
STRUCTURE: What's the weather like today? Today is ....
Here a set of flashcards about the weather. You can add more pictures if you want
The following picture is a Weather chart. Print and stick it on a cardboard. Cut out the arrows and stick them on two clothespins. Children will clamp the clothespin depending on the weather. Enjoy with your kids!!!

Adjectives order
Interesting way to how adjectives are place when we write. It's not very often to use all adjectives at once, but you can find some examples such as:
'She had a big, ugly, old, baggy, blue, stripey, cotton, British, knitting bag.'
'I want to buy a beautiful, new, blue, European car.'
Nobody uses all adjectives, but it's funny to know how to built a long sentence ;)
Position | 1st* | 2nd* | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Opinion | Size | Age | Shape | Colour | Material | Origin | Purpose | |
Nice | Small | Old | Square | Black | Plastic | British | Racing | |
Ugly | Big | New | Circular | Blue | Cotton | American | Running |

Into Books: What if ...?
As foreign language teacher, we must to encourage to our children initiate in Reading books. That is a difficult task because they feel frustated when they start to read books. They usually don't understand the general meaning of the text and it must be one of our main goal in classroom, apart from every single word.
Anyhow, we have to foster this skill because books will arouse our pupils' imagination, the habits in reading and our children will show a positive feeling towards books.
In this Section, I would like recommend you a book for every level. This book is recommended for Intermediate level (4th and 5th grade).
